Training Staff

Lisa Herbert, MA, ATC

Lisa graduated from The Pennsylvania State University in 2010 with a B.S. in Kinesiology and a specialization in athletic training. She continued on to earn her Master's degree in athletic training in 2012 at San Jose State University. She is a certified athletic trainer and has special interests in strength training, gait analysis, and running programs.

Lisa is an avid runner completing a handful of half marathons and marathons and has a passion for fitness. She is a fan of Penn State Football (We are!), UConn basketball (Go Huskies!), and the San Francisco Giants (Fear the Beard!). Originally from Enfield, she is excited to return to her roots and hometown and provide strength and conditioning programs to the clients of Grey Physical Therapy.


Megan Gallagher, BS

Personal Trainer

Megan joined Grey Physical Therapy in 2017. With the support of friends and family, she graduated from Springfield College with her Bachelors of Science, where she studied applied science with a concentration in sport performance. Her education and experiences include working as a personal trainer, analyzing the gait pattern of runners in a Human Performance Lab, and working as an Adventure Counselor for teenagers.

Born and raised near Worcester MA, Megan grew up a sports enthusiast. An avid rock climber, she enjoys spending free time outdoors or lifting in the gym. Her passion is to help people move well, feel good and achieve their fitness potential. Megan is a part of the rehabilitation team as well as the personal training staff.


Peg Maher Grey, PT, DPT, MA, OCS, ATC, TPS

Director/Owner

Peg graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy in 1980 and in 1996 with a Master's degree in Exercise Physiology and Sports Medicine. In 1997, she completed a post Master's certificate program at the University of Connecticut, School of Business entitled The Executive Program in Managed Health Care. Then in 2010, she received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the EIM Institute of Health Sciences. In 2017, Peg became a Certified Pain Specialist through the International Spine and Pain Institute. Peg is also Board Certified in Orthopedics from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She is a certified athletic trainer and also has advanced certifications in personal training, aquatic and vestibular rehab. She is a certified Transitions™ Lifestyle Coach. Some of her special interests include: total knee and shoulder replacement, dizziness, aquatics, dance rehab, nutritional counseling to improve health and wellness, Pilates, and sports related injuries. She teaches our on-going Transitions™ weight loss program about healthy eating and lifestyle management for Grey Physical Therapy.
